BIOGRAPHY
STEAL ACOUSTIC - Are based in Worcestershire and comprise of two very experienced musicians, Steve Soden and Al Nelson who recently connected and formed STEAL.
They play covers and original songs with a blues and country vibe.
STEAL perform covers of several artistes including :- Elvis, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zepplin, The Doors, Leadbelly, Chris Rea, Roy Orbison, The Everley Brothers, Buddy Holly and Doctor Hook.
STEAL have a fully equipped PA system for any occasion.
Steve Soden - As well as performing as a solo artiste, Steve was singer/songwriter/guitarist in the Purple Buddhas and the Sweet Peas. He is currently in the band Twisted Heart .​

Alan Nelson - Is 60 years old, was born in Birmingham and now living in Bromsgrove. He is a self-taught guitarist, playing from the age of 14.
His first gigging band was Big It Up in the early 90s, playing Indie style originals and covers, followed by Hobo, a Blues band playing originals and covers up to 2005. Later he joined a Classic Rock covers band Whiskey River, which with various line ups, eventually became Reson8, evolving further into a Black Sabbath Tribute band Rat Salad UK, which unfortunately all ended with Covid.
He met Steve via joinmyband.com immediately connected and was able to combine his musical ideas with Steves vast back catalogue of lyrics and songs to form SteAl (Steve and Al - get it !).
His main influences are classic rock and Blues. His favoured acoustic guitars (among many), are Ibanez Talman, Westfield Electro Acoustic and Gretsch Boxcar Resonator.
